Anxiety Therapy

Calming the Constant "Treading Water"

Anxiety often feels like a frantic pace you can't slow down, or a heavy weight in your chest that won't lift. Many people try to "think" their way out of anxiety, only to find their heart is still racing.

I work with anxiety and chronic stress as a nervous system state. Using a body-centered, somatic approach, we look at the "clever" way your body is trying to protect you by staying on high alert.

We move toward the discomfort with curiosity rather than fear, teaching your brain how to settle back into a state of safety and ease.
